14 JULY---STUFF TO THINK ABOUT

When Ben Gurion was prime minister of Israel, he traveled to the United States to meet President Eisenhower, asking for his help and support in the first difficult times of the State of Israel.
John Foster Dulles, who was then secretary of state, defied Ben Gurion as follows:
"Tell me, Mr. Prime Minister - Who, you and your government are supposed to represent?
... The Jews of Poland, or those of Yemen, Romania, Morocco, Iraq, Russia or perhaps Brazil? .... After 2000 years of exile, can you honestly speak of a single nation, a single culture? Can you talk of a unique heritage or perhaps a single Jewish tradition? "
Ben-Gurion replied that:
"Listen, Mr. Secretary of State - About 300 years ago, the Mayflower left England with the first colonists who settled in what would become the largest known democratic superpower, the United States of America. Now, can you do me a favor, get out in the streets and find 10 American children and ask them the following:
1 / what was the name of the captain of the Mayflower?
2 / How long was the journey he took?
3 / What did the passengers ate?
4 / what were the conditions of navigation on the trip?
I am sure you will agree with me that there is a good chance that you will not get a good answer to these questions.
Now however - not 300, but there are more than 3,000 years, the Jews left Egypt.
I would ask you, Mr. Secretary, when you travel around the world, asking 10 Jewish children in these countries to answer these questions:
1 / what was the name of the leader who released the Jews from Egypt?
2 / how long it took them before arriving in the Land of Israel?
3 / what they ate during the wilderness?
4 / what happened when they got to the sea?
Once you've got the answers to these questions, I invite you to carefully reconsider the question you just asked me.
Throughout History many so-called Christians slaughtered vast numbers of Jews, they were no more Christian then my neighbors dog…

Settlements are Jewish communities, some been there since 1967, so who is he to say they are unnecessary. Is the Palestinian Authority necessary when it pays terrorists to murder Jews? Biden is a jerk.
